Providence Health & Services Maintenance Technician - Maintenance in Issaquah, Washington
Providence is calling a Maintenance Technician (Maintenance, Day Shift, 1 FTE) to Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Identify potential maintenance issues and reports them to supervisor.
Demonstrate safe and proper techniques for chemical/cleaning solution use.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for the building and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for automobiles such as change oil, check fluids, repair tires, replace headlight bulbs, fuses, etc.
Oversee vendors activities for grounds keeping, the maintenance/repair of laundry equipment, generators, electrical, controls, boilers, HVAC, washer/extractors, dryer, vents, kitchen equipment and other equipment as needed.
Maintain walls and ceilings.
Check for marks/chips on walls.
Periodically service and maintain wheelchairs, walkers, etc.
Perform building maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures/bulbs, painting of inside premises, changing door locks, making repairs to fixtures, doors, windows, patching, shampoo carpets and perform minor plumping repairs.
Maintain equipment as preventative schedule dictates.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or GED
Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License
4 years experience in building and equipment maintenance, repair work or equivalent
2 years experience in basic automobile maintenance
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
