Providence Health & Services Administrative Assistant in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant - St. Joseph Residence (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Mount St Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Create a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for residents, visitors, and caregivers.
Respond to inquiries, maintain documents, patient files and data base records.
Type correspondence and other material.
Arrange meetings and appointments.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
3 years experience as an administrative assistant supporting management in a large organization
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
Ability to create a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for visitors and caregivers.
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
Accurate typing/keyboarding skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's degree in business or related field.
2 years experience working in a healthcare environment, in a long-term care or assisted living facility
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
