Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Heritage House, Evening Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. This position is eligible for a $2500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

In this position you will:
Assists participants/residents/patients/clients with scheduled and unscheduled personal care (oral care, bathing, hair and nail care, dressing, perineal care, toileting/incontinence care).
Maintain and utilize knowledge of participants/residents/patients/clients history, health status, strengths, needs and personal preferences to better serve them.
Work with participants/residents to develop scheduling of daily care based on the preferences, past history and/or lifestyle; integrate this scheduling into Service plan.
Provides medication assistance to residents and document on medication administration record (MAR).
Performs delegated nursing tasks under the direction of an RN.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Current Washington State Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) licensure
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, or within 30 days of hire
First Aid certificate, or within 30 days of hire
Food Handler's Permit, or within 14 days of hire
Required within 120 days of hire:
Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants training
70 hours Basic Training
Mental Health Specialty Training
Dementia Specialty Training
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
6 months of nursing assistant experience
Prior patient care experience in sub-acute, long term care and/or with Alzheimer’s or Dementia patients
