Providence Health & Services Dining Room Assistant - Assisted Living in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Dining Room Assistant (Assisted Living, Evening Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Heritage House at the Market in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Shift hours: 10:30am- 7pm
In this position you will:
Greet residents, escort them to an available table and present menus.
Take food orders and deliver to cook.
Serve meals to residents in dining areas.
Assist, along with other staff, to set up the dining room.
Keep menus current, clean and free of spots or stains.
Clear tables, food service carts and dining room area; maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Current Food Handlers Card in Washington State
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of food service experience
Customer service experience
