Providence Health & Services Manager Finance PSJH in Seattle, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Manager Finance PSJH to our location in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a Manager Finance PSJH . The Manager Finance supports Providence St. Joseph Health's Clinical Institutes (e.g. Cancer). Responsible for financial analysis and modeling in order to evaluate the performance of existing programs, assess effectiveness of new programs, and propose recommendations for achieving financial goals. Additionally, provides financial analysis for strategic planning, process improvements, and increasing efficiencies. Interacts regularly with institute leadership across the system, as well as executive leaders in local ministries. Responsible for managing part of the analyst team.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead team to develop financial analysis to support strategic planning, capital investment, practice acquisitions, new physician hires, and other key strategic decisions
Develop and use institute performance management tools such as dashboards and P&Ls to provide an accurate view of financial health within each institute
Support development of long range financial plans and capital budgets for the institute in coordination with Providence St. Joseph Health budget process
Assist in the development of budget compliance strategies including identification and resolution of obstacles to improved budget performance
Partner with medical and administrative leadership to prioritize projects within clinical institutes
Develop strong working relationships across the organization to execute assignments
Communicate impact of clinical and financial data analyses to key Executive Management, Operations Directors, and Physician Leaders in simple, digestible terms
Mentor and support professional development of analysts
Work with key senior management officials to incorporate strategic initiatives, company goals and business changes into the appropriate area(s) of budget. This positions does not have direct budget accountability
Provide excellent customer service to all end users.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent education/experience.
6 years of Finance related experience .
4 years of Leadership experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Public Accountant, HFMA or FACHE certifications
