Medical Assistant for Float Pool at Swedish Medical Group
Swedish is looking for Medical Assistant (1.0 FTE, Variable shifts) at participating Swedish Medical Group clinics throughout the Puget Sound in our Float Pool.
$5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Swedish that begin on your first day of employment.

The Medical Assistant works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
6 months healthcare experience
6 months medical assistant experience
Washington Medical Assistant Certification required upon hire
National Medical Assistant Certification required upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire
- Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
