RN Supervisor - Assisted Living at Providence Mount St. Vincent

The RN Supervisor is a member of the Assisted Living (AL) leadership team who works in partnership with direct care nursing staff to ensure patient care is based on healthcare needs and patient preferences, and adheres to regulatory requirements. This position supervises assisted living nurses, and provides comprehensive resident assessment, negotiated service plans, and coordinates resident care with providers/resident/family/AL caregivers. When required by staffing needs the Supervisor provides direct nursing care to AL residents in accordance with the Assisted Living nurse job description.

Required qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing

  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • 2 years geriatric experience

  • 1 year care coordinator experience

  • 1 year supervisory experience

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
