Providence Health & Services Senior Developer, Lumedic in Seattle, Washington
Lumedic , an affiliate of Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), is seeking a Full-stack Senior Developer in Seattle, WA that will leverage their background to help build a platform that will facilitate interactions between patients, providers and payers, using modern technologies such as AI/ML, distributed ledgers and autonomous cloud-based applications. The Senior Developer should have experience using an object-oriented language (Java/Kotlin, .Net, Python, Node) in an Agile team.
Responsibilities for the position include:
Design infrastructure and automated systems to support distributed architecture
Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables.
Help invent new features, design, develop and deploy reliable distributed services.
Spend time analyzing, designing, and developing software that delivers clean, maintainable code.
Learn and grow your skills by working collaboratively with experienced and engaged developers
Tackle challenging situations, and be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects, relish the idea of solving problems.
Analyze, design, and develop software that delivers clean, maintainable code within a large, complex, and established code base.
Develop SaaS software solutions.
Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and clients on an ongoing basis including discussing technical concepts and systems.
Learn the healthcare domain necessary to understand client data, methods, and workflows
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development or equivalent education/experience
5 years professional software development experience with server-side, web-based technologies (full stack preferred).
5 years’ experience with Java.
5 years creating and consuming web services (RESTful).
3 years’ operating and scripting in a public cloud, preferably Azure
