Providence Senior Finance Manager - Lumedic in Seattle, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Finance Manager - Lumedic to our location in Seattle, WA.
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the creation, tracking, reporting and analysis of investments in headcount, operating expenses and capital expenditures. This position will be integral in helping to quantify and validate operating and strategic initiatives that contribute to the overall financial success of the organization. The position will provide support to the Director of Strategy and Planning, as well as the executive leadership team, by assisting with reporting, modeling, budgeting/forecasting and other projects as needed. The successful candidate will have a passion for diving deep into data to identify trends and draw conclusions. This candidate will also possess exceptional partnership and communication skills and will routinely make recommendations to executive management and functional leads. The role will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance and analytical decision support in this rapidly evolving space.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide strong finance and business partnership to support sound business decisions for investing in people, processes and systems to best support the organization.
Manage assigned Finance activities including budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning. Understand, impact, and influence business investment decisions through detailed financial analysis.
Provide insightful financial analysis to support company-wide strategic and operational initiatives.
Develop models, analytical frameworks and projections to inform decision making.
Establish and report on key financial & operating metrics. Proactively create new metrics and reports as needed.
Develop the annual budget and periodic reforecasts, including revenue, margins and operating expenses. Partner with budget owners to develop resource needs while working within the framework of the company’s financial objectives.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual results providing detailed analyses that draw relevant and meaningful conclusions and highlight problem areas.
Assist with preparations for executive and Board of Director meetings.
Partner with the engineering and product marketing teams to support end-to-end product planning for new business models, and long-term steady state profitability strategies.
Articulate findings into high quality communications and facilitate executive decision making across engineering, marketing, and finance executive leaders.
Create and present pricing models for new products going to market.
Numerous ad hoc projects as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field, equivalent education/experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include
8 years experience in finance.
Certified Public Accountant, HFMA or FACHE certifications.
