Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Financial Analyst PSJH.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to analyze, understand report on key financial and business trends for the organization. Collects, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses. Creates financial models and ad hoc analyses. Develops budgets & forecasts in partnership with program/departmental leadership.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Be an Advisor to senior leadership (COO, Regional Directors, Site Leaders).
Special projects including business plan, capital planning, and pro forma development, especially in new business ventures.
Partnership with business development and strategy teams in development of financial analytic materials and models.
Develop financial and operational analysis both routine and ad hoc for ambulatory surgery centers and ambulatory imaging centers.
Interpret business trends and metrics to assist operations leadership in forming an objective view of financial performance and related opportunities.
Analyze financial & operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance.
Develop annual operating budget and long-range plan, including collaboration with management.
Assist with review of monthly accounting close and completion of monthly reporting
Prepare various analyses used by management in making informed operating decisions, and provide recommendations as appropriate.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent education/experience.
5 years Analytical and Business experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in MBA, CPA, CMA.
2 years healthcare related experience.
