Providence Health & Services Senior Product Strategist in Seattle, Washington
Lumedic , an affiliate of Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), is seeking a Senior Product Strategist in Seattle, WA to be responsible for the execution of detailed product and industry research and the communication of relevant findings to the broader strategy and product teams. Must have a big picture understanding of the vision and initiatives that Lumedic is pursuing, with a strong ability to evaluate new areas of research that help the team progress towards their goals.
The Senior Product Strategists aim is to help support the best strategic decision-making by providing a holistic understanding of our products, markets, and our relative advantages. This is done by analyzing the key trends driving our business and industry forward, which are then translated into actionable insights for the strategic direction of the product roadmap to influence relevant teams. The Senior Product Strategist will gather relevant key data to ensure strategies are well informed and laid out. The Senior Product Strategist will write clear and insightful briefs which will help inform product development and design. The Senior Product Strategist will also examine user and client challenges and relay this information in a way to help develop solutions, problem solve and ensure the product strategy remains relevant.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Gathering data to develop well-informed and effective strategic plans
Researching clients to understand them and their objectives and writing clear briefs that inspire team members to create exceptional work
Analyzing clients to uncover opportunities to stimulate growth
Work closely with internal and external clients to reframe and define goals to develop strategies based on consumer insights, trend analysis, market forces, and the clients' business objectives
Work with Product Strategy Manager to produce creative briefs, message maps, POVs, and other strategically relevant assets to drive marketing successes
Build understanding of consumer behaviors for meaningful brand connection
Complete qualitative and quantitative research and competitive analysis, as well as interpret data into insights and recommendations
Build a deep understanding of our existing business using internal and external data
Strategically evaluate new market opportunities and our current position
Work with cross-functional partners (product, data science, engineering, user research) to surface opportunities and threats, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations
Influence other product leaders based on findings
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including economics, market research, statistics, business administration and computer science
6 years experience in business strategy and/or analytics at tech/media company or startup, healthcare technology, and/or strategy consulting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting and knowledge with drivers of a technology business
Experience shifting priorities
Experience with technology audiences within an organization
Experience leading all aspects of quantitative and qualitative research projects including, but not limited to: writing research briefs, vendor outreach, developing discussion
Guides & surveys, moderating research sessions, and analyzing results
The talent of powerful communication, in all written and verbal forms
The passion to drive great strategy through data and storytelling
Experience with analytics and working with data
