We are looking for a data analytics and reporting subject-matter expert to join our Program Management team. Our Program Management team supports projects such as: IT infrastructure migrations to the Cloud, virtualization, remote connectivity, application delivery, device management, end user experience optimization, etc.
This is a hands-on, technical position to drive our reporting strategy, and design dynamic reports, program dashboards, and other visualizations. You’ll be able to deep-dive into the reporting structure; query against large data sets to provide valuable insights; provide QA for completed work to ensure accuracy and quality; and give and receive feedback for necessary changes. You are passionate about digging deep into our data, understanding trends, producing fantastic reports and dashboards, and collaborating with our agile teams. The new reports, dashboards, queries, that you provide will support our teams’ ability to make data-based decisions to continuously improve our infrastructure operations, workflows, internal processes, and end user experience.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Solution and Service: Creates design options for feature areas. Finds new sources and methods to generate caregiver/partner insights. Defines problems and questions well and identifies needed data and missing research. Identifies possible approaches and attributes to make the solution distinct and appealing to the caregiver.
Solution and Service Design of feature area specifications: Creates, evolves, and communicates feature area specifications that form cohesive, Iterable plans that align to the multi-year vision. Applies experience as well as technical, functional, and caregiver/partner knowledge to define the feature area’s role within the multi-year solution/service vision. Demonstrates a strategic understanding of the timing and rationale for design choices for a feature area.
Caregiver lifecycle: Drives the process to develop tools and materials that will be used by caregiver support, marketing, or sales to drive education and adoption. Drives the content development process, with stakeholders, to ensure alignment to overall content strategy and placement where, when, and how it is needed.
Engineering lifecycle: Uses an understanding of the engineering lifecycle and previous shipping experiences to advocate for improvements. Participates in design, code, and test planning and reviews, and shares best practices across the team. Identifies feature-level dependencies and establishes milestone release criteria to manage them.
Solution and Service ownership: Has a sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality, completeness, and resulting user experience for the life of the solution/service. Identifies unaddressed issues and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality. Uses the solution/service regularly to understand it thoroughly and discover ways to improve it.
Program Management functions: Proactively manages client expectations for timelines and deliverables throughout the project/program lifecycle. Develops and gains sponsor approval for project delivery dates. Manage portfolio programs with low/medium complexity, strategic priority and/or visibility, system and/or regional priority. Engages and organizes the assignment of activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project estimates, task dependencies and schedule. Scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans. Responsible for program communications, including communications across internal and external teams and groups.
Leadership: Acts as a coach and mentor to less experienced team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience.
5 years related experience; 5-8 years preferred.
Strong program and project experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following is necessary: APIs, BI solutions (PowerBI, Tableau) SQL/T-SQL, Azure Synapse SQL, Azure Data Factory / Data warehouses setup & support, ETL tooling etc.
Agile/Scrum framework knowledge; Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred
Experience using Agile work management and reporting software such as: Microsoft Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent
Experience gathering complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives. Provide insights on trends and drivers behind the results and prepare reports on findings.
Assess business needs, prioritize projects, and drive new reporting requirements to completion.
Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting. Serves as a subject-matter expert on the team.
