Providence Health & Services Senior Staffing Coordinator - Nursing Administration in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling an Staffing Coordinator Sr (Nursing Administration, Day Shift, 0.5 FTE, 20 hrs/wk) to Providence Mt St Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Schedule includes weekdays and weekends
Day shift starts at 6am
In this position you will:
Create schedules for nursing center float staff in full time employment (FTE) positions.
Assist neighborhood staff in creation of monthly schedules.
Work in conjunction with Neighborhood Coordinators and Float Personnel to assure appropriate staff assignments.
Identify and organize training programs for new Float and on-call CNA staff.
Provide Float Pool Staff with continuous coaching/feedback in order to maintain efficient clinical and behavioral practice assuring quality outcomes.
Maintain E-time and Payroll information at the Mount for the entire facility; verifies and completes all final E-time hours and vacation, sick and holidays before final submission to Renton payroll Specialist.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Health Administration or related field or 4 years experience in staffing or health care
Valid Food Handlers Permit within 3 months of employment
2 years experience in health facilities staffing or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Proficiency in computer software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
