Providence Health & Services Grief Support Assistant in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Grief Support Assistant (Hospice, Day Shift, 0.8 FTE) to Providence Hospice of Seattle in Tukwila, Washington.

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Thursday from 8am-3:30pm and Friday from 9am-1pm.
In this position you will:
Collaborate with the Grief Support Services Manager coordinates the day-to-day provision of bereavement services for hospice and community clients.
Provide grief support and triage to PHOS and community clients.
Serve as primary contact for bereavement referrals from PHOS staff.
Serve as primary contact for community inquiries related to Grief Support Services program.
Assist in the preparation and completion of mailings and other communications to bereaved hospice and community clients and to professionals in the bereavement community.
Facilitate the assignment of cases to bereavement counselors.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Four (4) years of experience in the field of Social Sciences or Services
Two (2) years experience in customer service related field
Knowledge/experience with loss, grief and bereavement issues
Experience in supportive telephone triage
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a social science or related field
Two (2) years experience in customer service related field, preferably in health care
Computer experience with database management
