Providence Health & Services LPN – Home Infusion in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Home Infusion (Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) at Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services in Tukwila, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This position will provide support in an office environment.
In this position you will:
Collect clinical information in order to ascertain appropriate services for referred individuals.
Assist patients, families, physicians, referral sources, and any other callers with infusion services.
Facilitate the coordination of services with the patient, from the initial referral through the duration of therapy and discharge from infusion services.
Use critical thinking, decisive judgment, and your ability to make independent decisions.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Washington State
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
Current Washington State driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
Two (2) or more years of direct clinical experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year of home infusion field experience
One (1) or more years of office experience in a health care setting
Proficient using Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and infusion software
