Providence Health & Services Nurse Liaison - Home Infusion in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Nurse Liaison (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Infusion Therapy in Tukwila, Washington.
As a liaison, the position is responsible for creating and maintaining positive customer relations for home infusion and other-in-home services programs as appropriate throughout the assigned hospitals/clinics. Work involves assuring appropriate documentation for compliance with facility/agency and statutory guidelines. Consultative functions include, but are not limited to: providing consultation and information regarding patient appropriateness home infusion services and/or other in-home services programs.
This position is slated to work (4) 10 hr shifts per week and primarily support Tacoma and the South King County region.
In this position you will:
Function in a dual role performing duties of a liaison and clinical Registered Nurse (RN).
Create and maintain positive customer relations for home infusion and other in-home services programs.
Provide direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, hospital, clinic, or alternate living site.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Utilize software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Current Washington State Registered Nursing License.
Current Washington State Driver's license and automobile insurance.
Current CPR certification .
1 year experience in acute care nursing.
Preferred qualification for this position include:
Home health or home infusion experience.
Prior sales experience.
